Trauma-informed and relational psychotherapy
with individuals, couples, and families.

Therapy with me is one way to create changes through psychological, emotional, and soul-based healing. Healing is possible through sharing your stories and better understanding patterns that are connected traumas, grief, or feelings of shame and guilt.

Processing family and cultures can be done with compassion, creativity, and critical thinking. I am a Queer and neurodivergent woman, from Kurdistan and Iran (Gilak) origin. Growing up in a displaced, multicultural, multilingual home had challenges, privileges, and grief. I take a social-justice oriented approach, with connection to communities, land, and history from an intersectional lens.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field, with availability in-person at my office in Costa Mesa, or virtually for anyone located in California.

It's about action."

About
My Approach

My sessions with you are approached with curiosity and respect.

I often work with neurodivergent-folks, ADHD, OCD, complex trauma, intergenerational family work, non-traditional relationships, grief, anxiety, and couple and family therapy. As well as LGBTQ+, diaspora, immigrant, and refugee communities.

My additional offerings include compassion-based practices through writing and poetry, meditation, and somatic tools.

Utilizing a blend of insight-oriented therapy with storytelling seeks your values, perspectives, and lived experiences. I hold passion and respect for decolonial ethnography and deepening of roots as an act of love and liberation.
